Registration Timeline

We are going to do a rolling registration start this year for TMC. We want to make sure that those people who are presenting or involved in the planning are registered. We also want to make sure that those of you who have had a vested interest in TMC from the beginning have the opportunity to register before we open it to everyone.

February 1: Those who are accepted as speakers, along with Team TMC
February 8: Those who have attended either TMC12 or TMC13
February 22: Everyone (We will publish the registration link via Twitter and here.)

TMC14 will be held at Jenks High School in Jenks, OK (outside of Tulsa – map is here). The dates are Thursday, July 24 through Sunday, July 27, 2014. For those of you making travel arrangements already, we are planning on an 11 am finish on Sunday. The host hotel is the Holiday Inn Express Jenks. The rate is $99 a night (includes complimentary breakfast, free wifi, and microwaves and fridges in each room) – you will need to call the hotel directly at (918) 296-7300 and mention Twitter Math Camp when you call to book your room.

We are continuing to take speaker proposals through Monday, January 20th. Believe it or not, that’s only 8 days away! We already have some wonderful proposals and we would like to see more! As it stands right now, we can accommodate about 100 attendees with the current number of speaker proposals. We would like to get that number up to about 150 (which is the maximum number that Jenks can comfortably accommodate). In order to make that happen, we need somewhere around 10-15 additional proposals. If you have been thinking about speaking at TMC, now is the time to get that proposal in! We are not extending the Speaker Proposal deadline. We will go with whatever we have at the end of the day January 20th (11:59 pm Eastern). It is presentations from people like you that make TMC great. So what are you waiting for? Now is the time!

There will be another update once registration opens in February. Meanwhile, remember that you can follow us on Twitter (@TMathC)
